COMPANY BACKGROUND
Leseli La Lihoai was established in the year 2020, as a non-profit
organization, with the main purpose to equip farmers and aspirants with
necessary technical know-how to run their farming enterprises in a
profitable and sustainable manner. More emphasis was based on
provision of technical skills trainings to assist farmers to produce food
that is safe for consumers’ lives, using agriculture best farming practices,
that are environmentally friendly, as well as provision of mentor support
to help farmers address their daily farming challenges and as well break
market barriers.
However, we later on diversified and incorporated entrepreneurship
training in our skills development program to assist aspiring farmers to
make better choices of farming enterprises or agribusinesses. It came to
our realization that entrepreneurship training was vital to help aspiring
farmers realize existing gap areas and as such be able to explore various
investment options within the agricultural sector before copying and
replicating what they already saw somewhere else, and which may or
may not work in their geographical location.
OUR MISSION:
We aspire to actively engage in the farming hotspot, as a key role player
that seeks to leverage and shape the agricultural sector and sub-sector
value chains, by empowering and building the capacity of farmers through
provision of various extension services, livestock healthcare,
entrepreneurship and / or agribusiness development skills, thereby
enhancing their growth in a sustainable manner. .
